Terms of Service
Last updated: November 7, 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and Rozek Industries Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16474200), for your use of Vennla on the web and in our iOS and Android apps. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Full provider details are in our Impressum.
1. The service
Vennla is a language-learning application offering vocabulary, grammar, spaced-repetition review, and AI-assisted tutoring and conversation.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country).
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Vennla offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” subscription.
- Pro is sold inside our iOS and Android apps and billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. The website offers the free tier.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We cannot cancel a store-billed subscription on your behalf.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Purchases made through an app store are also governed by that store’s terms. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms where their store terms require it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
- Upload content you do not have the rights to use;
- Use the service to violate any law;
- Overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse our AI features.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the texts, vocabulary, and messages you provide. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to operate the service for you — including sending it to the AI sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to any material you upload.
Material you add as a source (texts, documents, web pages, video transcripts) is read once to extract its vocabulary. We keep the derived word lists and the study cards made from them — not the material itself — and we do not share material you add, or vocabulary derived from it, with other users. Before adding a source you confirm that you have the right to use it: you own it, it is licensed to you, or it is freely usable.
6. AI-generated content
Vennla uses AI to generate translations, explanations, conversation, and audio. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for learning purposes only — verify important information independently.
7. Intellectual property
The Vennla app, its curated content, and its branding are owned by Rozek Industries Ltd or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to them except to use the service as intended.
Attribution: some curated word lists are derived from openly licensed data, used under CC BY-SA 4.0. French Social word data from Lexique 4 (New, Pallier, Schalchli, Bourgin & Gimenes, 2026, Behavior Research Methods; lexique.org). Academic word data derived from Wikipedia.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Vennla and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.
